The uLTS PE adapter for Lenovo tablets features Power over Ethernet (Class 0) support, wired Ethernet connectivity, Simulcharge technology that lets tablets to operate as a USB Host controller while simultaneously being charged, and the newest LAVA development adds Completely Autonomous Battery Modulation (CABM) technology for enhanced battery protection.
This Lenovo dedicated Ethernet Adapter connects via Micro USB to provide both Ethernet and 10.4 Watts PoE charging at the same time. The CABM feature monitors the charging rate of the tablet, and once the tablet battery is sensed as full, charging is turned off for set amount of time, and resumed. This technology is beneficial for commercial tablet kiosk installations with continuous operation. The CABM can be enabled/disabled by pressing a button located on the side of the adapter.
The adapter comes with a casing and Micro USB to Micro USB cable to connect the tablet. Power supply not included. Use PoE-enabled router/switch with support for the following Power-over-Ethernet Specifications: 802.3af (802.3at Type 1), 802.3at Type 2. When using only Ethernet, connect the adapter to the Aux. Micro USB port for charging at the same time.
